Summer is time to relax and have fun. Its also a great time to read a good book. So far this summer I have completed reading the book Hoot by Carl Hiaasen. This book was great, it kept me interested, and was very enjoyable. I found it interesting because the previous book I read was going nowhere. The story painfully dragged on with no point. Hoot, on the other hand, had an interesting story line and captured my complete attention. Hoot made me want to save the owls and discover the identity of the mysterious person who kept vandalizing the Mother Paula’s construction site. Like most books that turn into movies, the movie is nothing like the book. Therefore, if you have to read the book for a class this summer, do it because you won’t get by for just seeing the movie.
